Nordic Bildung is a think tank built on six main intellectual sources or philosophies:

• Our values
• A metamodern cultural code
• The Scandinavian tradition of folk-bildung and its insistance on empowering all members of society
• The future studies of our contributing futurists
• An understanding of the human mind and our meaning-making as something that evolves throughout life
• The book The Nordic Secret – A European story of beauty and freedom by Lene Rachel Andersen and Tomas Björkman

As the think tank produces new ideas, Nordic Bildung will publish them in various ways and work to disseminate ideas and material through the existing folk-bildung and our member associations and their programs.

Publications may be traditional white papers, booklets, videos and more, the common denominator is that our target audience is our fellow citizens and our communication must be meaningful and empowering to the general public.

The majority of our publications will be in formants that are easy to use in the folk-bildung.
